The Workday Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions within the Workday platform to support business processes and enhance organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have deep technical expertise in Workday, experience with various Workday integration techniques, and a proven track record of successful implementations. This position may work remotely on a regular basis but must be located in a state where we have an established US office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, and Infosec teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop, test, and implement Workday solutions—including reports, business processes, integrations, and customizations—to meet business needs. Maintain and optimize existing Workday configurations and integrations, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability. Support system upgrades, patches, and new feature deployments, providing documentation and training as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve Workday-related issues, working with vendor support when necessary. Design, build, test, and deploy Workday Integration systems using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect. Monitor and manage integration processes, schedules, and error handling to ensure smooth and reliable data flow between systems. Document integration requirements, technical specifications, and architecture, and provide support for integration-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
