Job Title Analyst I, Finance Business Intelligence Location New York Regular/Temporary Regular Job Description Summary The Analyst I is positioned in the Finance Business Intelligence team and supports the Firm’s financial operations, analysis, reporting, and data analytics needs. The team is responsible for owning the integrity, flow, and usability of financial data from source to business insight. You will directly interact with Strategic Finance leadership and all functional departments within the Firm. Job Description In this capacity, the Analyst I will: • Maintain timekeeper, client, and matter maintenance information in the financial system of record; • Utilize existing reports for financial analysis, production, data and process control using Power BI, Excel, and other tools that access the firm’s financial databases; • Support efforts to advance the Firm’s reporting, data visualization and analysis capabilities; • Work independently and follow through on assignments escalating complex matters on an as needed basis; • Manage recurring deliverables in accordance with agreed upon specifications and set deadlines; and • Collaborate with team members and Strategic Finance leadership to prioritize tasks and projects based on deadlines or in response to shifting priorities. Proficiencies: Introductory level proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization software; Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; Familiarity with 3E accounting software or similar enterprise software programs is a plus; Knowledge of general accounting principles; Capability to learn and follow Firm and practice-area-specific procedures and terminology; and Effective verbal and written communication skills. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, or Information Systems (preferred); and Zero to 1 year of financial reporting experience (preferred). The salary wage range for New York that we expect to pay for this position is a minimum of $56,000 and a maximum of $70,000 annually. The actual pay wage may vary based on experience or other relevant factors.
