Compensation, Hours, and Flexibility
Base Salary: $190 ,000 per year (commensurate with experience, education, and book of business)
Billable Requirement: minimum 1,850 annual billable hours

Qualifications
Admitted to and in good standing with the California Bar
Graduated with a JD and/or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
10 years’ plus experience advising on entity formation, business startups, corporate and business matters, and handling business transactions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities, highly organized, and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

Litigation Paralegal
Compensation, Hours, and Flexibility
California pay range for this role, with final offer amount commensurate with skillset and experience, is $34.62 to $43.27 per hour
Minimum 1,200 annual billable hours
The Opportunity and Caseload
At DMW, our primary focus is finding a collaborative professional who cares about doing high-quality work supporting our attorneys and clients who range from large international corporations to small businesses and individuals.
Responsibilities and skills include:
Preparation of and responding to discovery in pending litigation
Document management and organization
Analysis of documents and preparation of same for production
Preparing draft judicial council forms for various court-related hearings
Preparing and responding to subpoenas
Preparing attorneys for depositions, including preparation of exhibits, handling of exhibits during remote depositions, summarizing of deposition transcripts
All aspects of trial preparation
Communicating with firm personnel, clients, vendors and other third parties
Competency in software applications, including word processing, document management software, spreadsheet and database management, e-discovery, timekeeping, and forms programs
Your active caseload will span diverse business disputes, including general business disputes, employment litigation, probate litigation, real estate disputes, healthcare litigation, and data privacy and cybersecurity litigation.
Position Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ litigation experience supporting a medium to large civil litigation practice
Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA Paralegal certification (prefer both)
Working knowledge of general legal concepts, terminology, and principles
Good project management skills
Attention to detail, time management, good judgment, and solid organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills
High degree of professionalism
Knowledge of e-discovery software (proficiency with Disco a plus but not required)
Knowledge/understanding of document management systems, preferably iManage

Business Litigation Attorney
Compensation, Hours, and Flexibility
Base Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 per year (commensurate with experience, education, and book of business)
Billable Requirement: minimum 1,850 annual billable hours
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 days remote to balance collaboration and flexibility)

Your active caseload will span diverse practice areas, including:
General business disputes
Employment litigation
Probate litigation
Real estate disputes
Healthcare litigation
Data privacy and cybersecurity litigation
Position Qualifications

5 to 10 years’ litigation experience working with complex litigation matters
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to balance and prioritize multiple competing priorities and responsibilities, highly organized, and sharp attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as collaborate effectively in team settings
A small book of business is a plus but not required
